Rides FAR

Autumn leaves, a community coming together, changing lives. That's Rides FAR, a cycling event series to benefit the Autism Science Foundation. The Wall Street community is coming together to take a stand for an important cause.

In the peak of fall foliage season, hundreds of riders, a mix of avid cyclists and weekend recreational riders, venture on a fully-supported journey of scenic roads at one of the Rides FAR cities in North America. Over the past 10 years, Rides FAR has expanded from it’s flagship New York location to rides in Chicago, Toronto and Baltimore with virtual riders throughout the world! With a choice of a 5k walk or various cycling distances, you'll be supported - nurtured, really - by our volunteer crew. With rest stops every 15 miles, so magical we call them "Oases," ample route marking, safety monitors at tricky intersections, bike techs, and sweep vans if you need them, our crew will take care of almost any need you can imagine, and a great many you never thought of. Rides FAR is a leaf-peeping cyclist's utopia.

You can ride forever and still never understand the ride through life an autistic child faces. Participating in Wall Street Rides FAR gives you an opportunity to socialize with others who share passion for a great cause, and at times when alone on the bike, you can think about the difference you can make.
