Tour de towpath
Where path meets present! As the D&R Canal State Park celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary, state and local municipalities join together to celebrate by bicycle and on foot to benefit Canal Watch!
This event aims to highlight the beauty and history of the D&R Canal State Park. Starting at Cadwalader Park in Trenton, cyclists can choose from up to a 50-mile ride to Colonial Park. Tour de Towpath also offers a 5k and half marathon option for those who prefer to honor the park by foot. Ending with a finish festival at Cadwalader Park, there is something for everyone at Tour de Towpath!
Proceeds from this ride benefit the nonprofit D&R Canal Watch. This independent nonprofit organization works to engage the public in the protection of the environment and preservation of the heritage of the D&R canal.
